Here we are again, at the Rocket Bunny Tra Kyoto Shop. I go sometimes due to Miura San. I like to talk and learn from him. Today we have here the RB2 which in my opinion is the best Rocket Bunny created. Maybe because the choose color. Here are many pictures hoping you like it.
Here is the last part of the visit to TRA Kyoto after releasing the previous post a couple of weeks back. Very easy to find them in the home page of the blog.
I am specially attracted for old school cars, specially the Bluebird’s. Here an SSS version, aslo know in the US as Datsun 510 here in Japan today this cars aren’t very popular. Sorry they are popular but find them is very very rare.
Yes you are right here is Kei Miura-san entering the shop. I have talked about him in the previous post but I will say it again, Kei is such a kind guy, very smart and very friendly, you never really imagine. By the time you see these days the E36 Rocket Bunny I have already seen it finished in the computer renderings. It is gonna be really awesome.
Also in the shop is one of the most infamous Kanjo Cars you can remember. Also for me, I remember when I was younger watching Kanjo videos of Osaka watching those old Civic going faster than hell in the Osaka Ring Highway.
At the time I found that car here I couldn’t believe that car was real, well of course it is.
But the surprises never stops when visiting TRA Kyoto, Lamborghini bumpers and GT86 bumpers together. Easy to notice the huge difference in size between those two cars.

And the other surprise, the shop is like being germanized, many MB around, I will like to see a Rocket Bunny MB soon xD.

Arriving to TRA Kyoto wasn’t easy at all. But after a hard google, minkara and ameblo search finally I get the address to reach one of the most famous places in Kansai area. TRA KYOTO. I never imagined before to find myself here. This is the first view you find when you arrive this sacred place.
There is no big logo of TRA Kyoto over the workshop, no high stylish design of letters or graphics. This place is for design car parts and this is what they do best.
As you has seen before the FRS build is just as awesome as other rocket bunny cars but this is a very special one as this a Scion FRS not Toyota and this car is LHD. Miura San is so american freak as we seen in the the first post Inside TRA Kyoto.
I now understand why this FRS had no bumper, Kei Miura release this week some pictures of the new front bumper design. Which now incorporates new air vents and also day lights.
Super wide car, super wide wheels and super awesome design as TRA Kyoto has used to show. Quality parts. But quality means hard work and the hours in design and fabrications can really be appreciate when you talk for a while with Miura-San.
Even whit his hard work everyday he was so pleasant for the r32taka visit, in fact he showed as many top secrets designs he got for this years. I cannot reveal anything I am sorry. But expect to be very surprised, really.
Original Rocket Bunny now is waiting for new stuff, this is only I can say. I saw the car renders for the future. Miura-San made me very happy, he is one of a kind man.
Another classic, and probably the most well known ＫＡＮＪＯ ＣＡＲＳ. Long time not running it.
I still have many more pictures of TRA Kyoto, that a really one to post in the next post dedicated to this lovely workshop and his adorable man in charge. He has build big reputation in this car world and deserve most of my attention.
After the visit has been there other days, talked him is very impressive believe me.
When for first time I found myself looking for TRA Kyoto I was already excited. Just the pleasure of finding the workshop in the streets of UJI was amazing. TRA Kyoto is that kind of place you think that don’t really exist. Is just on the internet and is not the real life.
After searching internet at yahoo and some other japanese place I did get the address, then was just google how to go.
I know that this is not the kind of post you expect about TRA Kyoto. You expected rocket bunnies all around, but this post is something more spiritual. Here in rthirtytwotaka we love the classic images and classic stickers and signs, so I decided that the first post will be about showing something more about TRA Kyoto.
Like almost half of Japan, the mess is like the rule number one. Here we have an scale model of the most recent Miura-san Scion FRS. Yes Scion, as the car was imported from the US, more specifically straight from Santa Monica.
The well known Rocket Bunny PS13 also in scale model version.
As I am spanish born, this really surprised me. Old school Rallies from Mexico all them wrote in Spanish. Really amazing stuff inside the office.
Do you have a letter to Miura San? Post box can’t confused you, If you find this, you are already visiting TRA Kyoto, and if you are here you are really excited.
More classic images and signs, Miura San has a great taste and he is a great american culture lover as we can see.
Here as a result of many many bumper cuts everything is plenty of white dust. But for I don’t now the reason is like the only way it can be. If weren’t like that then this would be another shop but not TRA Kyoto.
The collection of T-shirt and Jackets is awesome, some were never used yet, maybe waiting the next Kanjo Battle in Osaka. The skate was just as cool as the rest of the stuff inside the office. There is an strange feeling when you sit down together to Miura San. Like you and the Master teaching you and showing you all the stuff around. Such a great feeling.
I promise you next post will have many Rocket Bunny cars and some other cool things that Miura San showed to rthirtytwotaka. Now I just wait to find one of our sticker in the next project, which of course I have seen but is really confidential. See you soon.
