Stand up and recording

I don’t know about you, but I often wonder why we do to take so many photographs of our life and yet we don’t always record the moments of our lives on video. As an example, those domestic videos that you pay no interest when you were a teenager, begin to take courage when growing and watching them at some point in our lives causes us a mixture of nostalgia, joy and sadness that is quite difficult to explain.

I think it happens to me constantly. I always regret not having recorded more situations in my life. Maybe thinking in the future, mine, or for people who perhaps I still do not even know today. Could they know more about me if I recorded more about me or about the passed time?

A walk through Shijō Station, Kyoto

Shijō Station (四条駅, Shijō-eki) is a train station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan.

The station is located beneath Karasuma Street, at the intersection with Shijō Street. The underground concourse of Shijō Station is connected with the underground concourse of Karasuma Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line under Shijō Street.

Sanjusangen-do Temple

Sanjūsangen-dō (三十三間堂, thirty-three ken hall) is a Buddhist temple of the Tendai sect in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto, Japan.

Measuring 120 meters, the temple hall is Japan’s longest wooden structure. The name Sanjusangendo (literally “33 intervals”) derives from the number of intervals between the building’s support columns, a traditional method of measuring the size of a building.

Visiting Nara Dreamland, Japan

This park was visited in January 2014, unfortunately it cannot be done anymore as after being sold, the theme park was demolished. I want to pay tribute with this video sharing with a collection of photographies I took back in the day.
