Sanjusangen-do Temple

Sanjūsangen-dō (三十三間堂, thirty-three ken hall) is a Buddhist temple of the Tendai sect in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto, Japan.

Measuring 120 meters, the temple hall is Japan’s longest wooden structure. The name Sanjusangendo (literally “33 intervals”) derives from the number of intervals between the building’s support columns, a traditional method of measuring the size of a building.

Visiting Nara Dreamland, Japan

This park was visited in January 2014, unfortunately it cannot be done anymore as after being sold, the theme park was demolished. I want to pay tribute with this video sharing with a collection of photographies I took back in the day.
